Pro 13:25 The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.
The word eateth in this verse means to consume. Those who are right with God only consume to satisfy their current needs which will line up with God’s Word. The righteous understand and follow the teachings of Jesus and their first responsibility is to the kingdom of God.
Mat 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Mat 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
The wicked that have no moral compass at all, see life very differently, it is all about self and stuff. But, because the things of this world will never satisfy the need of the heart they will always want more. And what they need is not more stuff but the forgiveness of God.
