Susannah Spurgeon was the wife of the famous Baptist preacher of the second half of the nineteenth-century, Charles Haddon Spurgeon. Susannah became a true partner in her husband’s ministry. It was she who toiled tirelessly to put her husband's books into the hands of other preachers and those young men training for the ministry. She herself also wrote many devotional books and also assisted in writing her husband's autobiography. She went to Heaven at the age of 72 in 1903.
